    I manage nearly 100 WP installs using IWP, and did not see your steps here before updating. My bad, and I can live with that.

    Now that it’s happened, I have tried the following;

    Manually rolling back to version 0.8.x
    I can see the Screen Option to enable Icons on the menu page, but it does nothing – I imagine this is due to the database being updated. In this state, I can see the menu icons on the front facing site, but no save option in the back end due to the meta box not working.

    Re-assigning the icons manually from scratch in version 0.9.x
    Unfortunately, this function no longer appears in the menu page.

    As this plugin was update locally on November 20th, I would rather not have to restore from backup, as the user is a regular blogger. Are there any other steps I can try to fix this?

    I should note that I have also tried uninstalling/reinstalling the plugin through the WP interface, with no change.

    Ryan,

    The icons that are already set for each menu items won’t be deleted by the update unless you update/re-save the menu. The update only affects the Icon Types setting.
