Updated theme caused issue on homepage

Could you make some edits to the homepage of your website to check for any changes? Please share a screenshot of the homepage edit screen from your admin dashboard.

Hi @mosesmedh thank you so much for offering to help. Sorry, it’s only Shop By Brand that I want to get rid of. Currently, there are no edits on my homepage — the page editor screen is completely blank. There are no blocks, paragraphs, etc.

In Settings > Appearance > Customize > Powerpack > Homepage the Page Content setting is disabled (actually, all settings are disabled here).

I would upload a screenshot but see no way to do so.

Any other place I can check to see how I can get rid of “Shop By Brand” that’s appeared on my homepage after the update?

Since the “Shop By Brand” section appeared after the update and the homepage editor is blank, it’s possible that it’s being added by the theme or a plugin. Please also share your System Status Report from WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support, so we have a better idea of your site configuration.

This looks like a new “Brands” section added in the Home page template for the Brands feature recently introduced in WooCommerce.

If you have created any brands, they will appear in this section.
If you do not plan to use the Brands feature then you may disable it using this guide:

Thx for the help. I went to Settings > Appearnce > Customize > Additional CSS and added the code but it did not work. Am I supposed to add the code somewhere else?

In that section, you can only add custom CSS code. The code mentioned in the article to hide the brand feature is PHP code. You’ll need to add it to the functions.php file or use a plugin to add the code.

I recommend using the following plugin: Code Snippets to safely add the code to your site.
