Updated Templates – product-thumbnail.php

    I updated my expired Woocommerce templates manually which broke my product pages. Rather than displaying the product information, price, etc. I got a fatal error message along the lines of product-thumbnail.php line 25 error.

    I reverted back to the old product-thumbnail.php template which corrected the error. Is this template broken or am I doing something wrong?

    Now, when I add products to my cart and go to check out, the display of shipping options is wonky and not displaying correctly. I’m guessing this is unrelated.

  • Your theme is v1.1.4 but the latest version is v1.2.3. WP & WC have come a long way in three years.

    I can’t say whether updating your theme will solve the problems but its a good start.

    Thank you SO much for the reply. I have to admit that if an update doesn’t show up on my updates page, I assume all is fine – and I didn’t realize I needed to manually update that theme (which seems nutty). I updated my theme and everything is current and clean… except that the checkout formatting is wonky in Chrome (Proceed to Checkout is partially covering the shipping options) but looks fine in Edge.

    Checkout or cart? Cart page looks good on Chrome here. Mind you I have only one shipping option, presumably because of my location/shipping zone. Did you clean out any cached stylesheets in W3 Total Cache.

    I was referring to cart rather than checkout.

    This is odd: I had previously cleared cache from my website. Now, I just reopened my site and cart in Chrome and Edge and they look different from before and both look the same and look good now. Odd.

    I do have a free shipping option >$200 which shows up along with the Flat Rate shipping which is confusing but I’ll let it ride for now.
