Updated storefront theme (have galleria child theme) now new color can't change

    I recently updated my storefront theme to the newer version. I am running the galleria child theme. After updating the storefront theme my website background colors changed to a dark grey color and the type is a purple color. IT doesn’t look good and I just want it to lok the way it looked before. Before it was originally just black writing on white background. When I click customize to fix it then it shows the way the website looked BEFORE I updated the theme and it is not showing the dark grey purple colors that I see when I go to look at the site. Then click out of customize and it goes back to the dark grey and purple colors. Anyone know why this is happening?
