Hi, Products are not updating on Facebook. I get this error in every product: “Updated product?9476941509044111?on Facebook has failed.” When I create new product, it is created and synced fine but not updating afterwards.

I have tried to reconnect plugin connection to Facebook. Plugin is the latest version.

  • Hi @villelai

Products are not updating on Facebook. I get this error in every product: “Updated product?9476941509044111?on Facebook has failed.” When I create new product, it is created and synced fine but not updating afterwards.

From what I understand, you’re experiencing an issue with updating your products on Facebook. You’ve mentioned that each time you try to update a product, you receive an error message stating, “Updated product 9476941509044111 on Facebook has failed”. However, new products are created and synced without any issues.

In order to resolve this issue, I would suggest resetting the Facebook metadata for all products. Here’s how you can do this:

    1. Navigate to your WordPress dashboard.
    2. From there, go to WooCommerce.
    3. In the WooCommerce menu, select ‘Status‘.
    4. In the Status submenu, you will find ‘Tools‘.
    5. Under Tools, you will see an option to ‘Facebook: Reset all products‘.
    6. Click on this option to reset the Facebook metadata for all products.

In case none of the above steps work, could you send us a copy of your site’s System Status? This will give us a clearer picture of your site’s setup and help us pinpoint the problem. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

Additionally, could you also provide us with the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Once you’ve got that, you can paste them right here in your reply, or use https://pastebin.com/ to paste it there and share it with us.

I appreciate your patience and cooperation in this. I’m eagerly awaiting your response so we can get this sorted out for you.

Thank you. Resetting all products didn’t help. I forgot to mention that forced product sync in plugin settings works with no problems.

    Here is system status: https://pastebin.com/7kK37Ppg
There is no errors in Woocommerce fatal error logs.

    Hello @villelai,

Thank you for sharing the logs!

I wasn’t able to replicate the issue. Could you please try disabling all plugins that alter product fields?

    For example:

    • Advanced Product Fields Pro for WooCommerce
    • Bulky - Bulk Edit Products for WooCommerce
    • WooCommerce Product Table PRO

If the issue persists, please try to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and Facebook integration, also make sure to activate the default Storefront theme.

If you no longer see the errors after doing so, it’s likely there was a conflict with one of your other plugins or the theme. To identify the problematic plugin, you can reactivate your plugins one at a time until you start to see the errors again.

For more detailed instructions on how to test for plugin and theme conflicts, you can refer to this guide: How to Test for Plugin and Theme Conflicts.

Let us know how it goes!
