Updated plugin today now have white screen of Death in Admin

I just had the same problem.
Updated the plugin on 3 sites and had a 500 error on 2.
My error log for one of the sites (IP and URL removed):

[Wed Oct 18 22:55:18.159948 2017] [warn] [pid 1855] fcgid_bucket.c(153): [client ——-:58847] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /data/sites/web/——/www/wp-content/plugins/popups/public/class-social-popup.php on line 446

Error log for second site shows same error on line 446.
Hope this helps to identify the problem.

Ok Thanks for the log.
I added by mistake a php syntax that it’s available for PHP 5.4 and above. That means that you are using a very old and insecure PHP version in your sites.

I will revert this change, as the plugin is stated as being 5.3 compatible, but at some point I will pushing PHP updates. Of course instead of white screen you will get a friendly notice urging to update your hostings ??

Simple delete the plugin and download it again to get the fixed version.
