Do you have the rename login feature activated and/or cookie based brute force protection enabled?

    Ok,

Since i raised the post i have been doing some further investigations and have managed to get access to the client domain hosting site and now I have replaced the plugin folder for this plugin with a version that was backed up about a week ago.

So now i can sign on again using the Allin one Cookie access page therefore in answer to your questions

Rename login page is NOT enabled
Cookie-based brute force IS enabled but worked fine up until the last plugin update.

Before i try and update your plugin again, should i be doing something else to try and not have a repeat of the issues i had last time???

    Should i update WordPress first???

    Thanks

It is not required you to update the wordpress first before updating the AIOS plugin.

    Hello,

Just updated All in One Security and seemed to be fine, then updated WordPress to version 6, and now I have the initial problem back again… ie 404 error when I try to access the Admin page using the cookie ref.

    So what now???

    An Update,

OK, I am not sure what is going on but I just check the site again and tried to sign on using a different browser (Firefox), and this time instead of getting a 404 error I had a WordPress message to update the database. Once this was done I am now able to sign into the admin using the All in one Cookie page.

The last time I had this issue, I also tried to sign in using a different browser and it did NOT work I also had the 404 error.

    So maybe panic over
    Thanks

    Hi @ejwjohn

Good to know you can update the wordpress and plugin both successfully.

It seems the database required update and browser cache might have created the issue Though we will check and if any issue found in our plugin we will solve it in our next updates.

    Regards
