updated plug-ins and versions and now my blog has an http error 500!

  • Help! I updated the blog with the latest plug-ins and version and now there’s an error 500 stating
    ?The website is under maintenance.
    ?The website has a programming error.
    I cannot get back to my dashboard to resolve the problem!

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    Thank you Esmi, but after the updates, I can’t even get to my wordpress account to make any changes/fixes.

    Please re-read my post above. None of the suggestions I made require you to login to your WordPress dashboard.
