Updated Plug-In, No Longer able to Add Post

    I just updated this plug-in, but I’m no longer able to add events via Posts. None of the options appear below the Edit Post entry field, and instead only displays the “Author” dropdown menu.

    Also, the Events no long appear in my sidebar on the home page.

  • Is the events calendar missing after the update?

    After I did the update the entire calendar disappeared & it’s no longer in the dropdown menu to add a new calendar event & all of the calendar posts that I had in the blog are now gone as well

    I tried to reinstall the plugin but keep getting the error message saying plugin failed to install

    Sorry to hear that, @tillett4ct. That shouldn’t happen but it’s possible some files that should have been cleaned up are still lying around and are getting in the way.

    Can you try using an FTP program or else the file manager made available through your web host’s control panel – then delete wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar and reinstall from there?

    Do remember to take a backup before doing anything you are uncomfortable with ??
