Hi @webzuliatec
We are presenting a case with this website, every time the status is updated an order is deleted from the WooCommerce administrator panel, it continues to show me in the database but not within the list of orders. We are not using any plugin to modify the status, we work with the default ones, any idea what might be happening?
From what I understand, you’re running into a bit of a snag – every time an order status updates, the order disappears from your WooCommerce admin panel. Even though the order still exists in your database, it’s no longer showing up in your order list. You’re also sticking with the default statuses and not using any plugins to alter them.
Today, I’ve tested this issue on my own site, using the most recent versions of WordPress, WooCommerce, and our free Storefront theme, with no other software enabled. However, I was unable to replicate the issue you’re experiencing.
This makes me think the issue might be specific to your setup. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot:
- Clear Cache: Sometimes, browser cache can cause display issues. Try clearing your browser cache or use a different browser to check if the issue persists.
- Check for Conflicting Plugins: Though you’re not using any plugin to modify the order status, other plugins might be causing this issue. Try deactivating all other plugins except WooCommerce to see if the problem persists. If it resolves, reactivate the plugins one by one to identify the conflicting plugin.
- Switch to a Default Theme: Sometimes, themes can cause conflicts. Switch to a default theme like Storefront and see if the issue still occurs. Here’s a handy guide on how to test for conflicts: ?? How to Test for Plugin and Theme Conflicts
- Update WooCommerce: Make sure you’re running the latest version of WooCommerce. If not, please update it.
?? Just a quick reminder: Before you make any changes, we strongly recommend that you create a backup of your full site and database. This is a crucial step to ensure that in case anything goes wrong, you can easily restore your site to its previous, functioning state.
If you’ve tried all these steps and you’re still having trouble, could you give us a bit more detail? It’d be really helpful to know the exact steps you’re taking when updating an order status and any error messages you’re seeing. This will help us get to the bottom of the problem.
It would also be great if you could share your site’s System Status report. This will give us a clearer picture of your site’s setup and could help us identify the issue. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status
. Select Get system report
and then Copy for support
.
If there are any fatal error logs, please share them as well. You can locate these under WooCommerce > Status > Logs
.
Once you have that, please paste it inside a Code block in your reply, or use https://pastebin.com/ to paste it and share the link with us.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation in this matter. I’m looking forward to your response so we can solve this issue for you.
