Updated Jetpack: Fatal error. Whole website broken

    My wordpress crashed tonight. I use an Elma Studio theme (MOKA), and for the picture slider, Jetpack was installed.

    Yesterday I saw there is a new Jetpack version, so I clicked “update”, which took place automatically then. Then there was a green symbol signaling: Done, alright. But when I renewed the page or clicked any other part of the website (wordpress admin, website itself …), nothing worked anymore. Here is the error message:

    I cannot say which WP version I used. It was rather new, though. But I cannot open the admin anymore to check …

    Does anyone have an idea??

    You have FTP access ?

    First download the previous version that does not meet worry

    rename the extension via ftp jetpack in jetpack.old

    by FTP : your site/wp-content / plugins / jetpack

    after you can go more comfortably on your wordpress dashboard and uninstall 4.3

    to install the 4.2.2 easy : go to the usual topic to install jetpack but select top: put an extension online and choose the archive on the hard disk

    since I switched to the latest version my subscribers are not notified of new articles and those who subscribe veulenrt do not receive the confirmation email ..

    I just give it a try, it still doesnt my 500 subscribers were not warned.

    I’ve had enough, I uninstall the plugoin, I’ll replace it with a more reliable newsletter pluging.

    @supermagicien Sorry to hear that, but I’m glad you could find a solution that works for you.

    If you’re ever willing to give Jetpack Subscriptions another try, and if you still experience issues, don’t hesitate to start a new thread with some examples of the posts that didn’t get sent to your subscribers, and I’ll be happy to take a closer look.

    thank you to offer your help but I do not know how you could solve my concern, despite uninstalling and reinstalling Jetpack my subscribers are not notified and I am forced to use Mailpoet to keep abreast of articles published.

    Knowing your site URL is already helpful, thank you!

    It looks like your site is having trouble synchronizing your posts with WordPress.com. Since the posts aren’t sent to WordPress.com, they don’t get sent to your subscribers either.

    I’ve just manually launched a full synchronization of your site content, and have tweaked some of your synchronization settings to try to fix that synchronization issue on your site.

    It might be worth giving Subscriptions another try in a few hours, once all your posts are synchronized. If you continue to experience issues, could you let me know by starting your own thread, as this thread is not related to your issue?
