• I’m experiencing very strange behavior over the past day or so. My homepage (StraightFresh.net) does not seem to be showing the most updated version unless you’re logged into WordPress. Obviously this is unacceptable since many of my viewers don’t have accounts.

I primarily use Chrome and am logged in as admin so I didn’t notice this issue until yesterday when a client couldn’t see that I had updated the front page slider with his material. I looked into the issue further and found that an outdated front page showed up when I accessed the site in incognito Chrome, IE or Firefox until I logged into my account, after which the updated front page shows.

Even when I disabled all plugins, the homepage that showed up in incognito Chrome still had all the widgets enabled even though the plugins powering them were turned off. The “CT Hip Hop Review” slider and “Weekly Wrap Up” posts are an indication that you are looking at the outdated homepage because there have been 20+ posts since then and the slider has been changed to “Atez & Ized”.

This seems to be some sort of caching issue, but I’ve cleared the site’s cache/cookies and it still won’t show the updated page. The last post that it shows was published on 1/25, so whatever is causing this happened sometime between then and now (although I didn’t update any plugins during that time and the issue persists even when all plugins are disabled).

    Any thoughts guys?

    Thanks,

    Peter
