Updated and now 404

Could I also get the rollback zip file? our website usshaven.net is using the plugin for our members section and all of our links show the 404 area in our crew section. Would really appreciate it! Thanks!

Hi Michael – I do love this plugin as it allows me to create some flexibility including 301 redirects. I was experiencing the same troubles with the 404/broken links. I saw previous comment to save the permalinks and then recheck – and they did work. Unfortunate though as I have some clients sites that will require the manual intervention as well. Hopefully this feedback helps.

Just to confirm, saving the permalinks page and clearing all site cache fixed the 404 issue we had on our post archive after we just updated. Strangely enough it was working fine on our stage website but the issue occurred when we copied over to the production server.

ohnmyohngoldcard and WebTreeAgency, are either of you needing me to look at anything specific or are you just reporting your experiences? Just want to make sure neither of you aren’t left in the dark.

I’m good thanks, was just reporting that the suggestion for flushing the permalinks that was on page 1 of this topic, worked in my case to fix the 404 error on my custom post archive. I’m now running WP 4.1.1 and 1.0.4 of Custom Post Type UI and it all seems to be working OK.

I rolled back to custom-post-type-ui.0.9.5.zip and it is working fine on it, will have to see if next version release works or will have to just stay on 0.9.5

1.0.5 is pending release and could use testers. Hoping it fixes more peoples issues, and doesn’t introduce more ??
