Updated and now 404

Might of been FF caching the page without the /store bit in.

Might of been related to the plugin update custom post type url’s seem to of been randomly effected. One fix to try if is a problem anywhere else is to go to the permalinks section in the WP admin and just re-save what is there.

Same problem. All product posts either rendered like normal posts or threw a 404. Saved permalink type without changing it and dumped Wordfence cache. One or the other or both fixed it.

First of all you can revert to the previous version if necessary, and I’ll gladly link you to the zip to use if you want to.

I can confirm the url without “store” is 404ing for me as well, so I don’t think it’s a caching issue. The url with “store” does work.

Are these product based urls from a post type using our plugin? or is it from perhaps a plugin named “wp-cart-for-digital-products” or something similar.

latro666 has a possible solution to help in regards to flushing permalinks. You can do that simply by visiting the Permalinks settings page and hitting save, without changing any settings.

Let me know of any updates and how I can possibly help because I want everything with your site back up on its feet and moving forward ??

It’s a huge change that went into 1.0, so any feedback you have after using it for a bit would also be appreciated, and I’m all ears.

Same issue with me…I need to roll-back to an older version. I’ve tried the downloads you posted in some of these other posts but it hasn’t resolved my issues. This is urgent.

Update: I just found version 0.8.5 and it’s restored my posts. Whew.

For what it’s worth, the content was never lost, the post types just weren’t getting re-registered, and thus the menu items were lost.

Hoping to get some reported bugs cleared up with 1.0.1 release, though it probably won’t clear everything.

Old settings option was retained with good reason at this point. ??

I had the same problem. 404 for all my custom post types. I found out the reason is the “With Front” Option. Setting it to true has no effect in the current version. Resaving the permalinks does not fix it. All Posts are accessible with “/blog” in URL. It makes no difference setting the “With Front” to true or false. It’s always “false”.

Gone back to a previous version and it works as expected.

Hope this helps to fix it.
