    Your Youtube video giving instructions for finding the API was created in 2016 and is out of date. Google has moved on.

    Google regularly changes the process for getting an API key. Feature management and bug fixes, however, have dominated our time. It’s hard to imagine the API video being the sole reason one would one star the plugin. We generally see that kind of rating for plugins that break a site or flat out do not work. Perhaps you could have posed a support request.
