Update WP to 3.8 – plugin is missing

Can you see any plugins listed in admin when you go to plugins => installed plugins?

Thats good — plugins are still there, so we need to figure out why you cannot see anything in the plugins list.

Is the problem limited to the plugins list in admin or are there missing elements in the front end if the website due to this?

To rule out a theme compatibility issue, can you temporarily switch to the default twentyfourteen theme, do the plugins then appear in the list?

The problem is big. All my site in one hosting persist the problem. How can i resolve?

We need to go though some troubleshooting steps to investigate the cause before we can arrive at the resolution.

So this is occuring on several sites? have you contacted the hosting company?

Anyone else having a similar problem, Do not add a me-too post to this topic, but start your own. But contact your hosting company first as there may be a server setup issue, which appears to be the case for alexandrue.
