    Good evening,

I have a problem with one of my websites.
I’m currently in version 4.9.1 and since this update, my dashboard doesn’t propose to update to a newer version.
My theme is Sydney (child theme)

Any ideas on how to reactivate the automatic check for wordpress updates?

Thank you in advance for your help.
    Lydia

May I know what version of PHP are you using? My guess could be wordpress detected your php version is not compatible with the latest wordpress version and hence, didn’t show the update is available notification.

    Hi websprout,

    Thank you for your email.
    I’m in version 7.1.
My website is hosted at GoDaddy.
I have another website using Futurio Theme and don’t have this problem.

In that case, you may want to check with your hosting provider, godaddy and check what is the exact issue.
It would be good if you can update us here if you have found out the root of the cause later.
    Hope this helps!

    Hi there @lydiawp,

Websprout’s advice should be able to fix you up – this definitely sounds like a Hosting issue. If you continue to have issues please open a new thread and let us know!
