Update WordPress 5.5. Can’t restore back-up

    After backing up my site I updated to WP 5.5 but unfortunately our register your interest section on engagehositality.co.uk has stopped working.

    When I try to restore the back up, it freezes on the verifying page.

    I have waited for hours and have also just tried doing plug-ins as I’ve read on other forums but no luck.

    Please can someone advise here what to do.

    Hi Andy,

    To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the restoration log? Could you also include a screenshot?
    You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your site via FTP.
    You can send the log file and copy the contents into an online tool (such as https://pastebin.com/ ). For screenshot, you can also use an online tool like prnt.sc/.
