Update – WordFence is Tagging as Abandoned

  • Hoping for an update for this plugin. This is an essential for many people using Genesis. Please let us know the future status – abandoned or update coming. Hoping WP Engine (new Genesis owner) will see its value and choose update!

    The Genesis Simple Sidebar plugin has not been abandoned and is safe to use with the current version of WordPress. We are working to have these notifications updated and apologize for any confusion.
