    I would like to update wordfence, and it is not working.

    I test as well with localhost…

    All the plugins is deactivated

    The message error : see your Firewall etc..

    I also deactivated in the parameters of W 10 the firewall… but nothing changes

    Have you got an idea

    Could you please share with us the complete error message you got?

    Also, are you trying to update the plugin directly from the (Dashboard > Plugins) page? you may also try updating from (Dashboard > Updates) and let me know how it goes.

    Yes I update the plugin directly from the Dashbord.

    I don’t succeed in activating it

    Message error is in French… I translate

    Verify the proxy and the firewall

    I have no Proxy. Just a Livebox

    I also deactivated in the parameters of W 10 the firewall and the firewall of The Livebox but nothing changes

    The message change : Time out… Sorry I don’t remenber exactly. For safety reasons I have to reinstall both firewalls ??

    Can be the configuration of the server !

    I test with another plugin secuity and It work… (I know it’s not a good Idea:)

    It could be related to either your ISP or your web host, did you try to contact both of them regarding this issue?

    Also, please share with us screenshots showing both error message (after activation the plugin) even if it was in French, this will help us to point the reason for this issue.
