Update website last mod date in sitemap

    Hello @tweakfreaks

    Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. If you recently modified a page, the datemodified should change in the page source and this is reflected on the sitemap, automatically.

    If this is not the case, please provide the URL of the affected page so we can take a look.

    I created my own theme from scratch, so that’s probably the issue.

    Does the plugin look for the “datemodified” meta tag or the schema tag on posts?

    Yoast SEO outputs?datePublished?and?dateModified?schema.org structured data. Read the?Schema API – Documentation?to learn how to remove schema pieces.
