    Hello,

automatic updates are not allowed in my server configuration. So when wordpress shows a new update for wordpress itself or a plugin, I download the files from www.remarpro.com and upload the new version to my server.

Now my admin-area shows one update is available and that is a translation. Never had that before and now I don′t know what to update. Is there a possibility to identify the files that need to be updated and where I can get them on www.remarpro.com for download?

    thanks

    Andy

  • Hi Andy,

Did you figure this out? I’ve just come across the issue myself, and I see your request, and one other person, but no answers – yet!

    Thanks,

    Sid

Yes, just download the newest wordpress-version and upload (overwrite) all files in wp-content/language.
    Thats it.

Ah, I think I’ve found something (via a friend). It might not be quite what you want.

    Translation Teams

On the right hand side of the table, click on ‘Details’, and that should send you to a page with a downloadable language zip file.

The Australian site has some good instructions in the ‘Install’ section too.

    I hope this helps!

PS. I did not do it this way. I have a local git repo for my wordpress ‘content’, I added the language files to my git content (previously it was ignoring languages), and then pulled it into the staging environment.
