Update took site down

Hi,
Insert PHP was upgraded from 1.3 to 2.0.2. Once the update was completed, we could no longer access the backend. Just got a blank white page. After renaming insert-php in the plugins folder, the backend started to work again. Restored V1.3 and site is still working, so something in the new version is breaking the site.

This is what debug showed:
