Update to WP 6.4 error cURL error 28.

OK: Im getting the Curl Error 28: I know that I had an older version of Curl, but something is UP and causing problems: I dont know how to FIX this, and while the info from @tomsommer tells you WHY it may happen, it does NOT tell me what to do to fix it: I have V 6.03 and 6.32, and still no fix is available.

Meanwhile: all my domains are having the same trouble, and it wasn’t doing this before, and i would like someone to create a plugin to ELIMINATE this error, for the time being, and then when you update WP again, add that functional fix to the next wordpress release – I beg you!!

I keep getting:

This does NOT fix anything, and it is causing all of my domains to be RUNNING S-L-O-W! I cant believe that increasing file limits or wordpress limits makes a difference, and if the install DIES when trying to access

Something is wrong, and it is NOT something I can fix: will wordpress 6.4 FIX this, so my plugins work and will not cause errors with Curl? I KNOW I havnt changed much, but Ive tried new version of curl with no sucess: can someone help me fix this??

We are having the same issues, and on one site we increased socket timeout with no effect, and another we just rolled back to 6.2.3 which resolved the issue. This is breaking the Apple News app, and stuff like FeedWordPress which we use to pull in content from ‘sister’ sites.

Replacing the curl.php file solved it for me. W H E W

Tried that: the site I am running STILL has REST API issues and cant connect to wordpress ??

It matters NOT what version I have, I am CRAWLING when trying to login, my Site health, huh, you might as WELL KNOCK api.wordpress.anything off line:? its not helping me, and the github people just closed out the issue:? I want a FIX for this, as SECURITY is compromosed as long as this REST API amd loopback and all this still are here, PLEASE, I wanna KILL my websites, this should NOT cause my who network running 4 dimains to DIE

Help me please ??  am going MAD ??  the Curl.php.zip has been replaced, what am I doing wrong??

still having curl 28’s WITH 6.4.1 what the hell am I doing WRONG?? my sites are gonna get TRASHED if it keeps throwing errors I should have NOT done anything ??
