Update to Version 1.1 from 1.0 Fails

Wordpress newb here…When attempting to update the plugin from the backend, I get an error: “Update Failed: Plugin update failed.”

All other plugins are updating as expected. Can you point me in the direction of troubleshooting the actual cause of the issue?

Secondarily (as a possible hint as to what actually could be the issue), when clicking on the links in the Plugin List to “View Details”, “View Version 1.1 details”; I get an error that reads “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

I’m not noticing any functionality issues with Version 1.0, but I would like to know if I can update the plugin using the usual route.
