the update to v13.0.3 did not change anything either: the Modern Events Calendar Lite plugin no longer works correctly and the Bakery Page Builder is not displayed.
With the statistic plugin deactivated, everything is OK

  • Hi

I also got a blog error in v13.0.2 and it was plugin deactivated

so still hesitating to update to 13.0.3 and plugin activated

Just wanted to give additional feedback. For me, I still get an error during updating to 13.0.3, here is the WordPress-error:

    “WordPress-Version 5.5.3
    Aktuelles Theme: GeneratePress (Version 3.0.2)
Aktuelles Plugin: WP Statistics (Version 13.0.3)
    PHP-Version 7.4.13

    Fehler-Details
    ==============
Ein Fehler vom Typ E_ERROR wurde in der Zeile 78 der Datei …/wp/wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/includes/classes/class-wp-statistics-welcome.php verursacht. Still, the operation was getting better in contrast to 13.0.2. Before, I did also get errors during navigating to the statistics in the WP backend. Now it seems to work. There are no errors on the backend and also the counting on page-basis seems to work flawlessly.

If any further feedback from my side is needed, just let me know and I can check something or provide further information.

Good to know, so i will def not uopdate the Plug in it cost me yetsreday the half of the day to rescue my website. I still will use Version 12.6.13

    Hi,

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

There are some temporary solutions for you:

    1. Disable Adblocker
    2. If your panel allows this, just deactivate the plugin. Otherwise, you can do that through CPanel/FTP. Delete the WP Statistics folder. Then replace it with the previous version of the plugin which is v 12.6.13. You can select and download this at the bottom of this page.
You will need to extract the file to obtain the wp-statistics folder if you are doing that via FTP. Then copy this to your wp/content/plugins folder.

We are working hard to fix the issues and you can check out our GitHub for the Composer problem. Also, some other major problems like Rest API are fixed on v13.0.3.

    Again, please accept our apologies.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

    Best,

@veronalabs you still don’t get it, right? Even version 13.0.3 is ti heavy for a high end Server, reduce the Database connections (delete the automatic optimization) and fix the other issues, best would be delet all versions starting higher then 13, and restart the programming for it…

Thanks @veronalabs, I will keep an eye on the upcoming updates and hope you will get it fixed soon. Please keep us updated!

With version 13.0.4 the problem is solved for me. Thanks for the good work!

    Awesome! Good to know that.

It would be great if you could write us a review. Could you please do that for us?:)
