    Facebook events manager said that:

Update to IPv6 for ViewContent events?
Change IPv4 addresses for ViewContent events to IPv6. Your server is sending IPv4 IP addresses through Conversions API, but we observe IPv6 IP addresses received through Meta Pixel. IPv6 is preferable over IPv4 for IPv6-enabled users. IPv6 is currently the industry-accepted standard and offers durability for your integration.

    How do we enable this?

    Thank you.

    Hi GATHH,

    Thanks for your message.

You would probably speak to your hosting provider for this.

    All the best.

    Hi there,

Thank you for getting back to us.

ipv6 support is enabled and supported in our server, which is also confirmed by the fact that our FB pixel already does send ipv6. The problem is that conversion API does not send ipv6, which is why I reached out to you as that is handled by your plugin.

Could you please investigate this? Thank you.

    Hi GATHH,

    Thanks for your reply.

If the visitor to your website has IPv6-enabled with their internet provider, Pixel Cat will attempt to send it.

If the user visiting your website does not have IPv6 enabled, then IPv4 will be used. Many internet providers have not switched to IPv6 yet.

If you have any further questions, just let us know.

    All the best.
