Update to 8.0.1 = 40 requests (before only 5)

I understand that you’ve recently updated from Woo version 7.9.0 to 8.0.1 and noticed a significant increase in the number of requests. While it’s true that updates can sometimes lead to an increase in the number of requests due to the addition of new features or functionalities, the jump from 5 to 40 is indeed unusual.

Please, can you share the following:

• System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
• Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

Thanks a lot for your answer ! There are no Fatal-error-logs and here is a copy of system status (sorry, I replaced the data-base prefixe with xxx and site for the moment). I had a look on some other websites and saw that they have so many requests, too, even more. I hope the system status will help. Thank you very much for your help.

A lot of the requests are the Woo Blocks CSS as if you look in the source file you’ll see about 20+ CSS files for blocks since 8.0

Frustrating when some themes don’t even use the Woo blocks but just subjected to having them have all these CSS loaded

I believe this is already fixed in the latest version of WooCommerce blocks(10.8.3), the problem is WooCommerce core is still a few releases behind.

Could you please install the dedicated WooCommerce Blocks plugin?

This should serve as a temporary solution until version 10.8.3 is merged into WooCommerce core. :?)
