    Hi

My site has been updated to the newest version, and now the site looks all wrong.
There is a giant piece of code at the top, and everything is out of place.
On top of that: all internal links seem te have been replaced by https:// instead of https:// – when I click them I get a security notice instead of the page I want to go to.

    Hi,

This looks like it is most likely cause by two things.

Firstly, are you able to log into your admin area (at https://thefbdirectory.com/wp-admin ), if so, do so and disable any plugins, I can’t tell you which plugin is causing it, but it certainly looks like one of them is. So disable all plugins and then enable them one at a time until the problem repeats it self.

As for the URLs giving warnings, there is a SSL certificate associated with the site, but it expired a year ago, and will therefore keep giving errors, to resolve this you could either renew the certificate (your host can probably help with this bit), or not use https connections.

The latter here can be achieved by logging in to the back end and going to Settings > General and ensuring both URLs shown here for Site URL and Home URL are entered using https:// as their address

The problem is that when once I’m logged into the admin panel, the site looks and works just fine.
Any idea how I can speed up the process of enabling the plugins, one at a time?
(I mean, now I have to enable one, log out of the admin panel and check. Then, I need to log back in and start over again.)

I’ve checked the URL’s in the settings – General page. Both URL’s are set to https://

Personally, I have a browser window in incognito mode open to look at the logged out version of the site to avoid having to log in and out.

Depending on what browser you use, it may not have this feature though. (In Chrome I use Ctrl+Shift+N to open such a window)

    Thanks for the tip.
It looks like the problem has been fixed ??
