• Just updated Meow lightbox to v. 4.0.5 and have to report the following bug:

Using the free version with theme = Light on my homepage to show

    screenshots.

The captions below the images now are shown only when first opening the lightbox, nearly invisible (white text on white background).

When toggling images the caption completely disappears, the button to show/hide does nothing.

As I can’t find no way to change this misbehavior, I expect a fast solution to get it working as before.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Are you sure you aren’t two lightbox at the same time (from two different developers)? ??

    Yes, Jordi

I’m completely sure. I only use Meow-Lightbox and only for my screenshots!

As I experienced 4 disastars from december ’22 til now (when I started to publish my first Page) updating several WordPress plugins, I use to take care

updating one per one. The bug appeared just after updating to v. 4.0.5.

Updating any component related to wordpress really makes me very nervious! Beleive me!

    Please rethink your code…

    Hi there,

Any news about solving that bug?

    Hi Jordy,

After now nearly 2 months without any help I have to express

    my deep dissatisfaction!

Nevertheless I tried playing with the settings in a quiet moment and

managed to get the correct behaviour back.

Output buffering has been activated (I never activated it), after updating to 4.0.5.

So here 2 questions for you:

    1. Why dit it get activated with the update? (should not happen)

    2. How can Output buffering block the captions to show up and disable

the Show/Hide Button too? You recommend this option for some cases!

Please give me a bit of information, feel reponsible as developers should be!

      You agree?

Waiting for response before setting this topic to ‘solved’ (without help).

      Best regards
