Update to 3.6.3 throws error

    When tryin’ to update I get an error:
    PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    Hi Ralf,

    Can you please completely remove the plugin, and reinstall it, instead of just updating?

    I just checked, but interesting enough it was updated automatically in the meantime.

    Any hint what was wrong with the initial update?

    Hey Ralf,

    From our side, nothing was wrong. Probably there was some temporary issue with your hosting provider and/or connection while installing the plugin and then that happened.

    Anyway, glad to see it is working now.

    Hi Gerard,
    actually “hosting” was a hint in the right direction.

    I found a hint here…

    …mentioning storage as a cause and so I checked that.

    As it was storage was running low due to a rogue setting in backup retention.

    I assume I’ve unintentionally circumvented the problem with your update while doin’ some manually install/uninstall in the process so it worked for that particular site.

    Anyway thanks and perhaps it’ll help someone else also ??
