Update to 2.4 requires password reset to work

My sites were updated to version 2.4 over the weekend. After the update, the passwords I had set for the sites no longer worked. I thought it was the WPEngine cookie/caching issue, but after speaking with them we determined that the update to 2.4 broke the plugin and in order for it to work, the passwords had to be reset. Fortunately, I was able to use the passwords that had previously been set. Changing them would have made a bad situation worse. I’m hoping this issue will be fixed in the next update and hopefully this will help anyone else who runs into this problem.
