Update to 1.0.50.1 deleted htaccess file

    Hi, I tried to update to the latest version 1.0.50.1 and the whole website went down telling me that I don’t have the latest PHP version installed. When I went into the files, I realized that there was nothing in the htaccess file. Everything was deleted. After reverting everything, the site was up again, however, why can’t I update? I have PHP version 7.4 and it works with my other sites. The only difference, I just converted recently to RankMath from Yoast on this site.
    Please advise. Thank you!

    Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    That is very unlikely that the Rank Math plugin would delete the content of the .htaccess file. Did you ask your hosting to check the logs and confirm that?

    Hi, sorry for not getting back to you earlier. The problem worked itself out. I think it had something to do with my disk being full. Rankmath had nothing to do with it, it just was the one update that pushed the site over the edge. So, sorry for the mistake on my side and thank you for providing a great plugin!! It is fantastic!1
