I just started using version 0.3.3.3 today. While setting things up the products and such, WordPress informed me there was an update. So I clicked on “Update Plugin”, and my entire site broke. Some missing file error.

I had to completely remove the plugin and reinstall it to make things work. Seems like there is an issue with the “update” functionality with this plugin.

Otherwise I am very happy with the plugin!

It had the same error every time I updated. I was using one of your themes and apparently you have to disable the plugin, then update, then re-enable. However, I have decided to change my site to use a different software altogether, so I no longer have it installed and can’t test it again.

    Hello GrandSlambert.
You problem was that you should deactivate our theme, then update our plugin, and then activate theme again as it (our theme) use plugin API, and while plugin is updating – it’s unuvailable to use it’s API.

    Regards,
    Alexey.

Yes, I figured that out, and that is why I stopped using it. You need to make the theme more aware and prevent that. It can be done – I have done it. Nonetheless, the plugin wasn’t robust enough for my needs, so I have stopped using it.

    Hello.
Ok, I see, I hope you find solution what you need. But can you please tell me – what was wrong in our plugin? This is really important for us as we want to improve our product.

    Regards,
    Alexey.

The plugin seemed to be very slow. Most likely the database tables are not properly indexed for the types of searches the plugin does. This is very important. I tried to determine where it was and make some suggestions, but had to get a working store up and running so I had to switch to another solution.

Also, there are several spelling errors in the text that display to shoppers, and I could not find a way to easily correct this. I might be willing to help find those and point them out, but I do not want to install the plugin on a production site again for the reason listed above.

    Hello.
Ok, I understand problem with speed. It will be good if you tell me – what another wordpress online store is faster? Maybe we can check it and improve our solution in that way.
About spelling – if you will have time – you can point our mistakes on https://default.readyshoppingcart.com/

    Regards,
    Alexey.
