  • Not for the immediate future. WordPress is requiring that all themes use the Customizer when entering options for the theme. Existing themes didn’t have to incorporate this into the current version, but any upgrades after October 2015 have to use the Customizer. This severely impacts the unique way in which Montezuma currently works.

Personally, I hate the Customizer. It tries to show you live “updates” to the appearance of your site as you make changes to the options, but it’s very slow. Plus, the input fields are too small for inputting large amounts of text like the virtual CSS fields.

Is there something wrong with the current version of the theme?

I think it is all right with the theme , but internet change every day and is coming de awp standard, and other thing i don t know, it give me a lot of security when whe see and upgrade of the theme.

According to this recent thread, if there are any patches for the theme, they will be posted on the Bytes for All support forum, which is the official support forum for Montezuma. So you may want to check there regularly.

I’m glad, so to speak, that I have a problem that brought me to the forum and I thus got to see this. I’m really glad the “customizer” won’t go into operation. Whew.
