Not for the immediate future. WordPress is requiring that all themes use the Customizer when entering options for the theme. Existing themes didn’t have to incorporate this into the current version, but any upgrades after October 2015 have to use the Customizer. This severely impacts the unique way in which Montezuma currently works.
Personally, I hate the Customizer. It tries to show you live “updates” to the appearance of your site as you make changes to the options, but it’s very slow. Plus, the input fields are too small for inputting large amounts of text like the virtual CSS fields.
Is there something wrong with the current version of the theme?
