The good news is WordPress appears to be updated, but the bad news is everything I click when logged in (i.e. in an attempt to get to WP-Admin or Dashboard) leads me to this successful update message. When I click “OK” it just takes me back to the home page without taking me to the dashboard (same applies to clicking on “Customize,” “Themes” or pretty much anything with the primary domain involved) How do I get rid of it? I can’t get into any source code or the dashboard either because I’m locked out by this message every time.

Should I just uninstall and reinstall WordPress? ??

Sorry, but I don’t get how this related to Easy Updates Manager. Did Easy Updates Manager automatically update your WordPress version? Were you even using Easy Updates Manager? Either way it shouldn’t be a conflict with Easy Updates Manager.

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Cheers,
    Matthew

Actually I don’t know how I ended up in this category, so total noob move on my part. Sorry about that.

But anyway, I tried what you recommended (accessing the server) and this appeared to do the trick. Thanks for your help!
