SEO Changed Through Page Editor Are Wiped Out When Updated

When I try to modify meta title and description through the page editor, and click the update button, nothing happens. All the SEO data I just inserted on post is removed and the SEO data on page editor reverts back to default state.
Any ideas why? I tried the Force Rewrite option but didn’t change anything.
