Update sending from wrong email

Same here, the email that used to appear in sent emails is not longer being shown

Please help

which mailer you are using?

Could you please tell me in more details what exactly changed after the update?
Did the “From Email” address change in the WP Mail SMTP plugin settings? Did the reply-to field change in the receiving emails?

Is the “Email Test” also sent from the wrong email address?

Any details about the plugin setup you are using would be very much helpful.

I am using Gmail as sender. No the from email in plugin settings stayed the same as prior. Emails are being sent from different address then what is entered in settings.test email also reflects this. Rolling back corrects it.

Can confirm that the send from email override stopped working for Gmail in the most recent update 2.1.1 and that it works if rolled back to 2.0.1.

I’d highly recommend enabling this feature again, even if you do so with a warning that it might not work as intended. It works fine when configured properly.

Also, this should be mentioned in your change log so developers are aware of the adjustment to functionality of the plugin.
