• Hello,

I purchased Scrollbar Designer Premium tonight and have run into a frustrating problem. After installing the premium version, WordPress is indicating that there is an available update, Version 2.1. But if I run the update it actually replaces the premium version with the free version. Apparently Scrollbar Design Premium is on Version 1.0, but it shares the same name in the WordPress plugins admin. WordPress has no way of knowing this is the premium version.

This is definitely a problem as I don’t want to constantly have a plugin indicating it needs an update when it doesn’t. I also don’t want to accidentally downgrade it to the free version by letting the update run.

    …..

On an unrelated note, I noticed a few silly spelling errors in the plugin’s settings that should be corrected…

Mouse Wheel Scroll (is misspelled as “Whele”)

Smooth Scroll (is misspelled as “Smoth”)

    …..

I really like this plugin, as its thorough and has many design options. I used customize my scrollbars with custom code, but this is much faster and more robust. I also like that you combined this plugin with a smooth scroll function, which eliminates the need to have a separate plugin for that purpose.

I just started testing this, but so far everything seems to be working pretty well. One thing I did notice was a possible issue in Internet Explorer (I realize IE is older now). It looks like the scroll bar doesn’t appear when it should, unless you resize the window.

I’d greatly appreciate you resolving the main issue with the version update in WordPress.

    My thanks again!
