Update/Publishing Failures

    I’m getting error messages when updating the Preview page or trying to publish. Seems to be related to the number of citations I have.

    I noticed it after getting to ~100 citations. Going above 100 citations would get the bibliography out of order. I’ve cut down to 88 and almost always get “Update Failed” whenever saving a draft.

    If I switch citation styles it will occasionally update, but if I click update again it fails.

    I saw an old post from 2016 about citations could be limited to 50 or 100.

    Any help would be great appreciated!

    Cleared the Zotpress cache and that seems to have fixed it

    I spoke too soon. Clearing the cache only works for loading the page 1-2 times. Then it’s back to cogs until I clear the cache again.

    This is the error message I get at the top of the page:

    Sorry about this! I think I’ve found the error and will release a fix in 7.1.3.
