update profile button IE

  • Hello,

    I have the most recent version of WordPress, but I am having a problem with the update profile button. When I click on it, it will update in any other browser but IE. Do you know how I can fix this so that it can update?

  • What version of IE? Profile updates work fine for me in IE9.

    Hi Esmi,

    I’m using IE7 and IE8, and for some reason when I click update it does not do anything (refresh or process). This is for an intranet so all of my users are using 7&8. We don’t have 9 yet as we would need to upgrade our computers first.

    Well, 3 days ago, I was using IE8 and I didn’t have any problems then either. If you’re on an intranet, perhaps it’s related to the server security?
