Update Products For Child Categories Only

    I have the category import set up for hierarchy, but I only want to assign the mapped categories to the post. Currently, is will assign both the parent and the child categories. How can I keep the structure but only assign the mapped categories from the import, not the parent?

    Hey @oc-wordpress-web-designer,

    It’s not currently possible to do this when using “Manually design the hierarchy with drag & drop”, but if you use “An element in my file contains the entire hierarchy”, you could accomplish this by doing the following:

    1. Structure the categories like this:

    Status > {status[1]} | Category > {category[1]} | CategoryParced > {categoryParsed[1]}

    1. Toggle “Separate hierarchy groups via symbol” (to ensure that each hierarchy group is split by pipe character), as well as “Only assign Products to the bottom level term in the hierarchy”.
