Update products by csv file

Hi
I want update my products by csv file , i have few questions ,
1 – What will happen if product in site and product in csv file have same id but different sku ?
2 – What will happen if they have same sku but different id ?
3 – Should both sku and id be same in site and file to update other information ?
4 – What if a single products sku be empty in file but has sku in site when updating ?Thank you , i have 10000 products i want be sure before updating

If you are importing products and are using the update option then both the ID and SKU must match products that have them. If not you will see an error in that product import and it will not update.

If an SKU is empty then the ID must match a product you already have uploaded. In any of these cases, your import will not break your products, it will show an error on the specific product in the log that is produced. As always it is best to take a backup before doing anything big like this. Just in case : )
