• Hi all, for two times I tried to update theme from 4.0.9 to 4.0.11 and the slider on the home page has stopped working…
Is it a momentary problem or something more serious?

    Thx

Yes it’s right I have gone back to old version (4.0.9) for the second time I can not use to updated one

    Hi,
    I understand.
Well, it might be due to a plugin, honestly without seeing the issue I’m not able to tell you more. :/

It’ s really strange in a shot there is a conflict plugin, up to previous version everything was ok…

If you need all access info there is no problem, let me know

Hi all, I have similar problems after update to 4.0.11.

My front page slider is auto-generated from sticky posts. When the website is opened on a new tab, it works beautifully. After browsing a post/page and return by clicking the site title, the slider no longer moves but stops at the latest sticky post image, with overlapping enlarged text from all sticky posts, and two separate buttons. Clicking these buttons can still go to the two single posts.

Besides, the three-line navicon on header opens the vertical menu randomly. I have tried on different pages and posts, it opens occasionally, but no response at most of the time.

    Can you help me?
Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi @tokitfong
I visited your site and cannot reproduce the issue :/
Anyway the “sometimes it doesn’t work/works” issue is often related to some caching issue.

    @mrzpro
well yeah I understand your point, but if the new version had no difference at all compared to the previous one you should not have any issue. So it’s not that strange ??
Sorry but wp.org forum rules do not allow asking for admin access.

Sorry Rocco, just a question, but if the new version had no differences compared with the previous one why has been issued?

    But I said the opposite actually… ??
What I said is that it’s not weird that a plug-in could conflict with the latest version and not with a previous one, because this possible conflicting plug-in might not like even a small change introduced in the latest version.
