Update problem

  • Hello,

    when I update my theme update, all my css and other thing are gone but they still work in the appearance/customize menu.

    Did you add your CSS code to the main theme’s style.css file?

    If so, you should move them to a child theme’s style.css instead. Or use Additional CSS under Customize menu.

    I have a child theme and I add css in customize menu, it’s weird the website css work fine like before the update in the customize page when all option theme are, css, header etc, but it only work in there. Not on the website itself

    Thank you for getting back.

    Perhaps the CSS selectors used in your additional CSS code are no longer present for markup update in the newer version of the theme.

    * Which locations are your CSS rules applied for?
    * Can you share your custom CSS code?
