    Hi,

    I am trying to update the plugin on sites that I administer and on most of them, the plugin update has failed. Have tried this a few times for each site.

    The site just goes into Maintenance Mode and times out. Sometimes I get the error message that it has failed to download the plugin update.

    Without something specific to go on, I don’t know how to help. If a download is failing, it’s not really the plugin at all, of course. If you get an error while the plugin is trying to activate, I would be very interested to know the error you’re seeing. I have updated the plugin for several clients and had no problems with it, so it’s not completely broken…

    I don’t know the reason why it was failing on the 3 sites.

    So I went through the cpanel to the plugin directory. Renamed participant-database folder, uploaded the new version zip file. Unzipped it.

    It works.

    Just a suggested work-around for anyone having the same issue.

    Thanks for creating a really useful plugin. Have been using this for close to a year now. Your prompt replies are much appreciated too.
