Update Previously Published Posts

  • Oh, how I wish this plugin had existed years ago! I already have hundreds of published book review posts.

    Is there any way to update those posts aside from recreating them manually, one-by-one, as reviews using that template?

    Can any of the short codes just be added to existing posts so that I can create specific pages for authors, etc.?

    All of my published posts already contain tags (using the Simple Tags plugin for years).

    Hello @jhsesq sorry about the delayed response.

    Right now there is no easy way to convert a regular post to a book review but I am working on it. I will add and extension to enable this feature soon. Also, I will be sure to test this feature with that tagging plugin you’re using.

    The plugin does have a index page shortcode which can display authors. It is [rcno-tax-list tax="rcno_author"]. You can see it in action here https://recencio.com/authors/

    Can you provide me with the link to the tagging plugin? I can’t seem to find it on the wp.org plugin repository.
