Update Plugins Does Nothing

Currently trialing UpdraftCentral Cloud before buying.

Connected several test sites successfully.

And when I choose Manage Plugins, I see an accurate list of the plugins that need updating.

But when I select the checkbox for a plugin to update, and then press “update now” in the plugin version message, literally nothing seems to happen, except that no links within the cloud dashboard for that site now work – I see the red “NO” circle if I hover or try to click. The update itself never happens and I never see any messages that it’s even attempting it. The cloud dashboard page for that particular site never “comes back to life” on its own. I have to reload it.

Same problem if I select several plugins to update, then choose Bulk actions/Update. Also happens if I try to update several sites at once.

Things I have tried: Ran the site connection method test and confirmed connection is successful. Looked at UpdraftCentral log events on site and all it ever shows is “Command received: plugin.load_plugins” and ping from the connection test, of course.

Any help appreciated.
