Update page version not showing

    My site doesn’t show the update version of a page unless you click “refresh” in your browser. The error appears in any browser on any gadget.

    It also appears both in the internal and external pages of my site.

    E.g. if you add a product to cart and go to cart page, you can see it there. If you add one more product to cart and then go to cart page, you can see only the first added product. After you refresh the page, you can see both products.

    The same happens in internal pages like “Orders”. After receiving a new order, you can’t see it when accessing the order page, but only by refreshing the page after accessing it.

    I don’t have a cache plugin. I installed one, but didn’t solve the problem.

    I deactivated all plugins except Woocommerce, but didn’t solve the problem.

    I changed the active theme, but didn’t solve the problem.

    All my plugins and wordpress version are up to date.

    I received a mail from WordPress describing an error, but I don’t know if it is linked to my problem:

    An error of type E_PARSE in Line 57 of /xxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/woocommerce.php Error message: syntax error, unexpected ‘:’, expecting ‘{‘

    I am sorry to hear about the issue. I can experience the same issue.

    Let’s go through these troubleshooting steps –

    1. Confirm that you have checked while you have no other plugins activated except WooCommerce.
    2. You have tried after switching over to a default theme like Twenty Twenty
    3. try after clearing the transients, template cache, cart sessions from wp-admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools

    Make sure to take a copy of your site status while having all plugins deactivated and you are on a defaul theme. Paste the result in this thread. You get WooCommerce configuration status from wp-admin > WooCommerce > Status page use the button marked in this screenshot, then use the copy for support button.

    Also, if you have a server-side cache enabled ask your hosting provider to disable that to check if that is causing the problem.

    Hosting provider say they have cache for RAM, not for site.
