• Updating to Version: 2.2.3 has overwritten the styling of my child theme. Please advise, I have returned to an earlier version of your theme for now.

  • Can you clarify what you mean by “overwritten the styling”? The entire point of making a child theme is so that you can make changes that won’t be affected by an update to the parent theme.

Hi, I only made changes to my child theme, I can only assume that some to the styles which I did not alter in my own style sheet either had names changed in the discovery style.css or when I checked the code, this style sheet seems to have been added which was not there in the previous version wp-content/themes/discovery/css/turquoise.css

    Puzzling ….

Do you recall what version you were using before?

Hi, I think I was using version 2.1 which is the one I have reverted to, but it is possible that I had updated from that version without any issues. I usually update a couple of days after any new release. Hope this helps.
